Tough Enough Races

Winchester’s longest running Obstacle Race ‘The General’ is now in its sixth year. 2018 is to be the biggest yet with over 500 participants due to attend each day’s event.

Tough Enough Races will hold their annual event on April 15th at the magnificent Matterley Estate set in the beautiful South Downs.

The 10km route takes in natural challenges such as mud, water and a 1.5km motor cross circuit. Along the route runners will crawl under a Challenger Tank, whoosh down a 25metre water slide and test their strength and determination on other obstacles positioned around the course.

Last year also saw Tough Enough Races launch a 10km and 20km trail on Saturday with over 350 runners taking part. The organisers received great feedback and will be running again on April 14th.

Each entrant to their events will receive a technical t-shirt and medal to remember their achievement. Any adult taking part in Sundays race can automatically enter their children for the 3km Mini Obstacle race for free.
